Conference Session Call for Proposals

The Ohio Transfer Council is pleased to accept session proposals for the 2025 Annual Conference. The conference will be hosted on Thursday, June 12, and Friday, June 13, at Franklin University in Columbus, OH. We will accept proposals through Friday, April 25. We will review submissions and contact speakers to confirm participation by Friday, May 2. If you have questions about submitting your proposal, don't hesitate to contact Melisa Swafford at melissa.swafford@tri-c.edu.

This is open to OTC members, staff and faculty at colleges and universities, and partners dedicated to transfer initiatives. Breakout sessions will be 55 minutes in length. The proposal should connect with the conference theme of "Unlocking Potential: Innovating Transfer Success for the Future."

Facilitated Discussion Suggestions

Do you have a topic you would like to discuss with your OTC colleagues during a facilitated discussion?  These sessions will provide the opportunity to brainstorm, share ideas and challenges, and learn from OTC colleagues.  Last year’s topics included Best Practices in Transfer Partnerships and Articulation Agreements, Trends in Transfer Student Recruitment, and Student Experience with Ohio Transfer Guarantees.

$50 Graduate Student Registration Fee (ends June 1) (Verify your graduate student status by emailing a copy of your course schedule to melissa.swafford@tri-c.edu)

* All registration fees include OTC annual membership for 2025-2026.  The individual membership fee will be $40 starting July 1, 2025
