Transfer Talk Tuesdays are back this fall! The Ohio Articulation and Transfer Network will host three transfer-related webinars beginning in September. These professional development webinars cover a range of topics and initiatives, usually lasting about 30 minutes with additional time for questions and discussion.

Transfer Talk Tuesday Information

Indiana Transfer Initiatives

Date: September 21, 2021

Time: 1:00 p.m.

The OATN will be joined by the Indiana Commission for Higher Education to discuss similarities and differences between Ohio and Indiana's approaches to transfer.

Transfer Friendly Websites

Date: October 19, 2021

Time: 1:00 p.m.

For National Transfer Student Week, we will have a panel discussion about transfer-centered websites. Discussion topics will be pulled from NISTS's Transfer Website Strategy Guide.

Introducing ITAGs

Date: November 16, 2021

Time: 1:00 p.m.

This month’s webinar is What’s Up With FAFSA. Join ODHE’s State Director of GEAR UP, Carlos Bing, on Tuesday, April 20th, as he talks about important news and potential changes regarding the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Topics will include:

Upcoming changes to the 2022 FAFSA (for the 2023-24 academic year)
FAFSA completion as a potential state graduation requirement

Talk Tuesday series this Spring Semester. These professional development webinars usually last 20 to 30 minutes with additional time for questions and discussion and provide information on transfer-related topics and initiatives.
